The Dance for Parkinson’s program is built on one fundamental premise: professionally-trained dancers are movement experts whose knowledge is useful to persons with PD.

This class–based on the Dance for PD® program developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group in New York–is an aesthetic experience that uses the elements of narrative, imagery, music and community to develop artistry and grace while addressing such PD-specific concerns as balance, flexibility, coordination, isolation and depression.

This program is offered by two members of the PD Gladiators Metro Atlanta Fitness Network:

Still Pointe Dance Studios (Cumming)

Southern Arc Dance (Newnan)
