Movement Disorders Training: The mission of MDT Education Solutions is to equip health and fitness professionals, care partners, caregivers and people with PD with the knowledge and resources to form and participate in community-based exercise programs. They offer accredited continuing education courses for professionals. They will also soon offer convenient, on-line learning opportunities to help family members and caregivers assist someone with PD participate in an exercise program.

ParkinGo: ParkinGo Wellness Society in Victoria, British Columbia, focuses attention on people with movement disorders and their caregivers, and on the role of exercise in slowing the progression of Parkinson’s disease. It  provides a community-based exercise program in a centre wherein clients can exercise together or individually, guided by an expert in Parkinson’s specific exercises.
