General Fitness for PD (Tucker)
You’ll have fun while working out in this exercise class! The class is designed to help people with Parkinson’s increase their walking ability and improve balance and flexibility. It incorporates music, but participants will not be asked to learn choreographed moves, so there’s no learning curve. You will become stronger and improve your cardiovascular fitness. Research has shown that exercise can also help reduce Parkinson’s symptoms and slow the progression of the disease; however, individual results will vary.
